A completed secondary-education document together with its transcript of subjects and grades must be submitted. A document issued abroad requires a notarised Russian translation and, where applicable, legalisation (apostille or consular legalisation) and formal recognition of the foreign education in the Russian Federation. No numeric minimum grade average, GPA or attestat average is stated for the international route on any page fetched.

Профильные предметы

For international applicants entering the Специалитет «Лечебное дело» on a tuition (contract) place the faculty sets two subject examinations: Russian language and Chemistry, held in the form of an interview (собеседование / устно); alternatively the applicant may submit ЕГЭ (Unified State Exam) results. Biology is NOT part of the international-route examination set (the Chemistry ДВИ + Chemistry/Biology/Russian ЕГЭ combination applies to Russian-Federation citizens). Applicants admitted to state-funded (budget) places sit the examinations laid down by the general MSU admission rules.

Язык

All degree programmes of the faculty, including «Лечебное дело», are taught in Russian. Proficiency is demonstrated by passing MSU's own Russian-language entrance examination (held as an interview for tuition-based international applicants) or by submitting ЕГЭ results in Russian. No CEFR level, no TORFL/ТРКИ certificate level and no minimum language-test score is published on any page fetched. Applicants who need to learn Russian first are directed to the MSU Institute of Russian Language and Culture.

Экзамены

The only standardized test recognised on this route is the Russian ЕГЭ (Unified State Exam): an international applicant to the tuition-based Специалитет may submit ЕГЭ results instead of sitting the Russian-language and Chemistry interviews. MSU also allows foreign citizens to sit MSU-run entrance examinations for those subjects in which they hold no ЕГЭ result from 2022-2026. No minimum ЕГЭ score for this programme, and no SAT / ACT / IELTS / TOEFL / IB / A-Level requirement, is published on any page fetched. All entrance examinations are conducted on the MSU examination platform exam.msu.ru.

Application package for international applicants: education certificate/diploma with transcript; notarised Russian translation of the education documents; valid passport / ID; notarised translation of the passport / ID; documents evidencing a change of surname or given name if applicable; a matte 3x4 cm photograph taken in the admission year; SNILS if held; and medical certificates — form 086-у (or equivalent) on the absence of contraindications to study, plus certificates on the absence of HIV/AIDS, hepatitis B and C, and tuberculosis (a medical certificate is valid only if issued no earlier than one year before the close of document intake and entrance examinations). Applicants must additionally supply documents proving the legal ground of admission (citizenship, compatriot status, kinship, residence abroad or in Russia, migration documents). A compulsory preliminary medical examination is required by law for the specialty «Лечебное дело». Certificates from a narcologist and a psychiatrist are required.

Портфолио и собеседование

There is an interview-form assessment: for tuition-based international applicants the two entrance examinations in Russian language and Chemistry are conducted as a собеседование (oral interview), delivered on the MSU examination platform exam.msu.ru. No creative portfolio and no separate admissions interview beyond these subject examinations is published. Applicants transferring from another university may additionally be required to attend an in-person interview at the faculty admissions committee.

734 000 RUB per year for foreign citizens on «Лечебное дело» (duration 7 years). Figure published for the 2026 admission year; the 2027 fee had not been published at the time of collection. For comparison the same-year contract fee for Russian-Federation citizens was 724 000 RUB per year. 25 tuition-based places were allocated to international students on «Лечебное дело».

Стипендии и скидки

Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan are explicitly named by the faculty among those entitled to compete for state-funded (budget) places, i.e. tuition-free study. Separately, foreign citizens may receive higher education funded from the federal budget under international treaties of the Russian Federation, federal laws, or the Russian Government quota for the education of foreign citizens (квота на образование иностранных граждан), admission under which is made on referral from the federal education authority. No programme-specific merit scholarship or stipend scheme for international students is published.
