Foreign applicants, including applicants from Kazakhstan, may apply for the Russian Government quota, which gives the right to study free of charge on the chosen programme and to receive a monthly allowance. Applications are made through https://education-in-russia.com/. The scholarship covers full tuition and a monthly allowance; travel costs, living expenses and health insurance are not included, and scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis. NSU additionally states that scholarships exist for applicants admitted on olympiad results or high ЕГЭ scores.
