Профильные предметы
Two entrance tests in major subjects plus a mandatory Russian language test. There may be an additional creative exam for certain specialties. The specific two major subjects for International Economics and Business are not published for the international route.
Язык
Russian language at CEFR level B1-B2, verified by a Russian language test taken at UrFU. A certificate of completion of a Russian language course (from UrFU Russian Language School or another authorized institution) may be submitted instead of taking the test.

468 000 RUB per year for CIS citizens (Kazakhstan is explicitly listed as a CIS country), reduced to 397 800 RUB per year for applicants who earn a particular number of points at the entrance exams. For comparison the published non-CIS price is 507 000 RUB per year and the price for graduates of the UrFU Preparatory Department is 431 000 RUB per year.

Two routes are published for foreign citizens: (1) the Russian Government Scholarship funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, selected by Rossotrudnichestvo, covering tuition for the full period of study, a monthly scholarship and on-campus accommodation; (2) the Open Doors Russian Scholarship Project olympiad run by the Global Universities Association, giving tuition-free admission. No scholarship specific to International Economics and Business is published.
